The property is a lovely recently refurbish food led pub in the South Hams area of South Devon. It is a popular tourist area in the season and they require a strong Sous Chef for their team.
Peak summer it is a busy operation, so the mantra of ‘a simple thing done well‘ will apply. The kitchen team utilise lots of local producers; doing their own butchery on site where possible and foraging the surrounding area. So skills in these areas would be an advantage.
The owners are keen to help the ideal candidate settle into the team, and the area, and so are prepared to offer the following package:
- Salary: upto £30k DOE
- Annual bonus: Yes, & to be discussed further into the process
- Help with relocation & temporary accommodation
- Help with extra courses, which will benefit not only the candidate & the business.
The business will be expanding to further sites in the near future, so there is an opportunity to grow with the company & head up your own kitchen.
