This luxury property in a West Country market town is looking for some support for their kitchen, a Head chef (to work under an Exec Head Chef) in Somerset.
This is a busy operation but the owners and management have invested in looking after their staff, this is a newly created position due to the demands of the business. The standard and style of the food operation are modern European in a casual setting, estimated to be around a 2 rosette level. They are also opening a fine dining option in the new year with a brand spanking new kitchen. The main kitchen is also being refurbished and will be fitted with an induction range.
This is a busy operation, so good man-management and financial skills are required alongside an excellent cooking ability. Proven Sous chef experience would be a minimum level required for this role, as well as experience across diverse operations.
